Joan M Kop grew up in Cottonwood, Idaho. After attending school to become a legal secretary, she was recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency. She later graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in Business Administration and is the author of a memoir, Spies, Lies & Psychosis.
